Job summary

Vaagen Bros. Lumber Inc. in Colville, WA is seeking an Inventory Specialist to move parts between inventory sites, support inventory receiving, and perform periodic audits in a fast-paced wood products environment.

The role requires problem solving, CMMS/Maximo/SAP experience, strong computer and communication skills, and adherence to safety. Expect 45+ hours weekly, full-time benefits, and opportunities to contribute to Lean improvements.

Qualifications

• Problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills are required.
• Strong computer, communication, planning and organizational abilities.
• Experience with CMMS platforms (SAP PM, Maximo) and Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to travel occasionally to Usk, WA.

Responsibilities

• Assist data entry and track service calls.
• Review service calls for accuracy and close out accordingly.
• Serve as a parts runner, retrieving inventory from multiple sites.
• Support receiving functions and verify shipments.
• Assist inventory organization projects and tasks.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity.
• Create SOPs for inventory and purchasing.
• Maintain safety procedures and housekeeping.
• Keep tools and supplies in their home locations.
• Communicate with teammates and submit maintenance requests when needed.
• Perform entry level sawmill duties and general cleanup.
