Job summary

Vaagen Bros. Lumber Inc. is seeking an Inventory Specialist to move parts between inventory locations, track service calls, and assist with receiving and stocking duties.

You will support inventory projects, audits, and process improvements while maintaining safety and productivity in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong problem solving, solid computer and planning skills, and experience with CMMS and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Experience with inventory movements between sites and data entry.
  • Ability to review inventory data, compel accuracy, and support audits.
  • Familiarity with CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office required.
  • Travel to Usk, WA site as needed.
  • Lean techniques and safety procedures emphasized.

Responsibilities

  • Move parts between inventory sites and communicate inventory needs.
  • Support receiving, verification of shipments, and stocking.
  • Assist with inventory projects and audits.
  • Process maintenance requests and ideas for improvements.
  • Maintain safe, organized work areas and tool locations.
  • Perform entry level sawmill duties and general cleanup.
  • Ensure cross-team communication and adherence to SOPs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
