Job summary

Mill Creek Lumber & Supply Company is seeking a dependable, organized Warehouse & Inventory Specialist to manage daily warehouse operations. You will receive materials, verify against orders, inspect for accuracy, and maintain organized storage to ensure timely availability for customer orders and installations.

The role requires hands-on ownership of the warehouse, with coordination across sales, operations, installers, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Experience with inventory accuracy and cycle counts.
• Comfort operating material-handling equipment and safety practices.
• Willingness to coordinate with sales, installers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect incoming materials for accuracy, quantity, and damage; report discrepancies.
• Unload, move, store, and organize flooring, tile, and other materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records; perform cycle counts and inventories.
• Stage and prepare materials for customer orders, installations, transfers, and deliveries.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, installers, and vendors to ensure availability.
