Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking an Inventory Specialist responsible for executing, monitoring, and training inventory best practices across store operations including front end and pharmacy. You will support inventory management activities such as receiving, counting, ordering, pricing, returns, and planogram accuracy.

In designated stores you may open and close and handle cash duties as needed. You will ensure On-Shelf Availability, assist with price changes, and maintain compliance with store

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for the store (front end and pharmacy).
• Support inventory management activities: receiving, counting, ordering, returns, pricing, and planogram accuracy.
• Review and coordinate use of reports and systems affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Open/close responsibilities in designated stores, including cash handling and POS tasks when acting as leader on duty.
