Walgreens Co. is seeking an Inventory Specialist to execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices across store front end and pharmacy. You will manage receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and planogram accuracy while ensuring On-Shelf Availability and compliant stock levels.

In designated shifts you will engage customers, lead as on-duty supervisor when required, and coordinate with pharmacy staff to post orders and recalls. This role requires attention to detail and a flexible schedule.

Qualifikationen

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience (external candidates).
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Aufgaben

• Executes and coaches team on warehouse and vendor inventory management: creating, reviewing, and receiving orders.
• Scans in all deliveries; manages One Box receiving; contacts vendors for discrepancies.
• Verifies pharmacy shipments postings and completes postings for pharmacy orders daily.
• Completes On-Shelf Availability end-to-end for planogrammed departments and manages vendor returns.
• Completes pricing activities: price changes, markdowns, and signage; ensures correct pricing and signage.
• Supports front-end and pharmacy ordering and monitors pharmacy manual orders.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and compliance with state/local laws for regulated products.
