Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a detail-oriented inventory and operations associate to ensure in-store inventory accuracy and effective front end and pharmacy support.

You will monitor receiving, counting, pricing, and returns, and execute planogram compliance and shelf readiness. In designated stores, you may assist with opening/closing duties, cash handling, and POS transactions while coaching team members on warehouse and vendor processes.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Six months of Walgreens experience or one year of retail work experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for front end and pharmacy.
• Review and coordinate proper use of reports and systems affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Handle front end and pharmacy asset protection activities and vendor overages/shortages postings.
• Open/close store duties in designated stores when required, including cash handling and POS duties.
• Lead on-duty actions to maintain customer experience and service quality.
• Manage warehouse/vendor inventory processes including creating, reviewing, and receiving orders.
• Verify pharmacy shipments and postings; manage recalls and recalls-related postings.
• Execute On-Shelf Availability end-to-end processes and inventory counts across departments.
• Maintain accuracy of inventory counts and ensure regulatory pricing tasks are completed.
