Job summary

Walgreens in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a store Inventory & Operations Associate to execute and monitor inventory best practices across front end and pharmacy. You will assist with receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and ensuring planogram accuracy to support On-Shelf Availability.

You will also review reports and system applications affecting on-hand balances and pricing, implement asset protection, and assist with duties when the manager is unavailable.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience (internal) or one year of prior retail experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Executes, monitors, and trains inventory best practices and SOPs for store operations (front end and pharmacy).
• Reviews and coordinates use of reports and systems influencing on-hand balances and pricing.
• Executes and maintains front end and pharmacy asset protection, and files vendor overage/shortage claims.
• Opens/closes the store when needed, handling cash, POS tasks, and store readiness.
