Job summary

Walgreens in the United States is seeking a responsible Inventory Associate to execute and monitor store inventory procedures across front end and pharmacy. You will support receiving, counting, ordering, pricing updates, and vendor returns, while ensuring planograms and stock accuracy.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of retail work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and resolving problems.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for executing, monitoring, and training inventory best practices across store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Supports pharmacy inventory management activities: receiving, counting, ordering, returns, planogram accuracy.
• Executes pricing changes, markdowns, and maintains accurate pricing with signage.
• Opens/closes store (where required), handles cash, and ensures ready floor/stock room for business day.
• Engages customers and supports a positive customer experience; leads service when on duty.
• Coaches team on warehouse/vendor inventory processes and delivery scanning.
• Verifies pharmacy shipments, postings, recalls, and pharmacy inventory activities.
