Job summary

Forgent Power is seeking an Inventory Lead with Industry Technical Expertise. The Inventory Lead is responsible for overseeing daily inventory operations to ensure accurate inventory records, efficient material flow, and compliance with company inventory control procedures.

This position leads inventory-related activities including cycle counting, inventory audits, receiving verification, inventory transactions, and team coordination.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in inventory control, warehouse, or materials mgmt.
• 1+ years leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with ERP/WMS or inventory management systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting.
• Ability to pass background and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/WMS.
• Monitor levels, identify discrepancies, shortages, and overages.
• Investigate variances and implement corrective actions.
• Lead cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Coordinate inventory movements between locations.
• Provide daily direction to inventory specialists and train staff.
