Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a materials and inventory supervisor to oversee handling, cycle counts, and ERP-related transactions. You will lead on-floor operations, coordinate with project management, and ensure accurate inventory records and shipping readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in material handling or inventory roles.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to read work orders/prints and have advanced computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Print reading ability.
• Must be able to problem solve.
• Knowledge of custom store fixture industry and receiving.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to others and represent themselves as a leader.
• Operate as Manager when Manager is off floor or not in building.
• Expert understanding of all material handling roles.
• Understand interactions with other departments and communicate accordingly.
• Communicate with employees and upper management.
• Locate products, perform cycle counts, and ensure inventory and financial accuracy.
• Coordinate with project management to expedite customer requests.
• Close jobs, add items to inventory, and manage ERP reports and transfers.
• Prepare shipments for unloading or transit and organize storage locations.
• Inspect inbound/outbound goods and resolve discrepancies with leadership.
• Work independently while handling multiple priorities.
• Perform cycle counts and report results to leadership.
• Validate BOM accuracy and CSF processes.
• Show proficiency in picking and bin-to-bin transfers in the ERP system.
• Handle Receiving/Shipping clerk responsibilities.
• Operate lift equipment within applicable limits.
• Scan QR and Bar codes and complete pick transactions.
