Job summary

Arhaus is seeking an Inventory Exceptions Specialist at the Boston Heights corporate campus to urgently resolve inventory discrepancies and OS&D issues across inbound, delivery, and reverse logistics, ensuring accurate ERP visibility and a positive customer experience.

You will review multi-system transactions, collaborate with 3PL providers and internal teams, and continuously improve processes while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced retail logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Exceptional research, analytical and problem-solving skills; prioritize tasks in fast-paced environment.
• Strong collaboration, relationship-building and communication skills; ability to lead cross-functional discussions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams) and inventory management tools.
• 1 year minimum of inventory control experience, including cycle counting, WMS/ERP, and order exception processing.
• Understanding of general logistics and warehousing practices including order processing, picking, shipping and delivery/return processes.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment with high attention to detail.
• Experience in public company environments and SOX compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and resolve all reported orders and inventory exceptions tied to customer orders and OS&D.
• Process returns, exchanges, and return inventory for seamless reverse logistics.
• Assist with quality and product status changes and holds related to orders.
• Handle logistics help tickets from internal teams and external partners; focus on customer sales orders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to achieve task or project goals.
• Continuously improve processes within role and cross-functionally for accuracy and efficiency.
• Understand ERP, WMS and other systems to monitor and move inventory while tracking order impact.
