Job summary

Hire East Idaho is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support accurate warehouse operations. You will perform cycle counts, audits, and data entry while coordinating with Purchasing, Forecasting, and Accounting teams.

The role involves researching and correcting transfer variances, processing requisitions, and addressing auto relief errors. A solid inventory software background and good math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with JDE/High Jump inventory systems.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent basic math skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Stand, sit and/or walk for the duration of shift.
• Pulling, stretching and bending for duration of shift.
• 3+ months inventory control experience helpful.
• Knowledge of computers and related software.

Responsibilities

• Conducts daily cycle counts in assigned Warehouse/Shipping line locations.
• Performs location audits in areas with a high degree of recurring errors.
• Researches and corrects transfer errors and inventory variances, then notifies responsible personnel.
• Completes requisitions for various departments.
• Monitors auto relief; researches and corrects auto relief errors.
• Maintains obsolete inventory.
• Answers and/or resolves inventory questions from various departments (Purchasing, Forecasting, Information Services, Accounting, etc.).
• Data entries all adjustments and returns movements.
