Job summary

International Vitamin Corporation is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to coordinate and maintain accurate raw material inventories. The role includes posting ERP transactions, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely material flow to production.

The candidate will follow cGMP and SOPs, train associates, and communicate results to the Inventory Control Manager. Shift is Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (college degree a plus).
• 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience investigating, analyzing and solving discrepancies in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the cycle count program by performing cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, preparing reports, and conducting root cause analyses.
• Investigate inventory procedure inconsistencies and elevate findings to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
• Oversee the proper disposal of aged, obsolete, and rejected products in compliance with company policy and industry standards.
• Process inventory adjustment transactions as necessary and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and cGMP requirements.
• Provide for ongoing training and development of associates
• Communicate inventory results and findings to the Inventory Control Manager in a timely manner.
• Assist in preparing reports and supporting documentation for management review.
• Provide support during annual physical inventory audits and other related activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support department and organizational goals.
