Job summary

CarMax in Oklahoma City is seeking a Flow Inventory Associate to maintain vehicle inventory, perform receiving/shipping, lot maintenance, merchandising, and photo uploads. You will ensure each car meets CarMax quality standards while supporting a fast-paced, accurate workflow.

This role emphasizes integrity, teamwork, and customer transparency. Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk long hours, and work nights, weekends, and holidays is required at times.

Qualifications

• Valid driver''s license and ability to meet CarMax driving standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and accurately transcribe data for inventory records.
• Completion of Inventory Associate workstation certifications and assigned trainings.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods in a fast‑paced, high-energy environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory by following CarMax inventory processes.
• Receive and secure vehicles shipped to CarMax and prepare title packets for transfers.
• Perform lot maintenance and merchandising, ensuring display areas are clean and organized.
• Prep vehicles for customer returns and loaners, including washing and vacuuming.
• Execute photo station process for carmax.com listings.
• Drive vehicles on and off the lot for repairs, storage, and auction support.
• Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
