Job summary

CarMax, the nation’s largest retailer of used cars, is seeking a Flow Inventory Associate in Colorado Springs to maintain vehicle inventory, receive and ship vehicles, and manage lot merchandising and photo uploads to ensure quality standards.

You will handle transfers, title packets, car prep for returns, and on-lot movements, while adhering to safety requirements. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet CarMax driving standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Read, interpret, and transcribe data for inventory records.
• Completion of Inventory Associate workstation certifications.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Stand or walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory following CarMax processes.
• Receive and secure vehicles shipped to CarMax; prepare title packets.
• Perform lot maintenance and merchandising; keep areas clean.
• Prep vehicles for customer returns and loaners (wash/vacuum).
• Execute photo station process for car listings.
• Move vehicles on/off lot for repairs, storage, auction support.
• Follow EH&S requirements; maintain a clean work area.
