Job summary

Victra is seeking an Accounting Manager for Inventory & Non-Current Assets in Durham, NC. This role oversees inventory, fixed assets, CIP, and ROU lease assets under US GAAP, driving rigorous closes and strong internal controls.

You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and FP&A, while mentoring 1–2 offshore team members. The ideal candidate holds a accounting degree, CPA preferred, and 5+ years of experience in asset accounting and leasing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related business field.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 5+ years accounting experience with inventory and fixed assets.
• Direct experience with ASC 842 lease accounting / ROU assets.
• Leadership experience incl. offshore/shared services accounting teams.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end inventory accounting lifecycle, incl. capitalization, reserves, adjustments, write-offs, obsolescence, and period-end valuation.
• Oversee fixed assets and CIP accounting, incl. depreciation, transfers, impairments, disposals.
• Manage operating and finance leases, including ROU assets and lease liabilities per ASC 842.
• Review reconciliations, subledger-to-GL rollforwards, and schedule tie-outs for audit readiness.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close for inventory, fixed assets, and lease schedules.
