Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Financial Analyst - Inventory in Houston, TX to manage and optimize inventory across terminals and pipelines within the fast-paced energy industry. The role emphasizes financial analysis, modeling, and cross-functional collaboration to drive cost savings and accuracy.

You will leverage RightAngle software and perform reconciliations, forecasting, and strategic inventory decisions while communicating findings to senior leadership in a clear, concise manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis with focus on inventory management in energy.
• Strong knowledge of oil, gas, and refinery sectors, including operations, regulations, and market trends.
• Proficiency in RightAngle software for inventory management.
• Experience in reconciliations and identifying discrepancies.
• Strong financial modeling skills to forecast inventory needs and optimize costs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for non-financial audiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial analysis to understand inventory trends and identify improvement opportunities.
• Utilize RightAngle software to manage inventory levels across terminals and pipelines.
• Conduct reconciliations of physical inventory against financial records.
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast inventory needs.
