Jobot is seeking a dynamic Financial Analyst - Inventory in Houston, TX to manage and optimize inventory across terminals and pipelines within the fast-paced energy industry. The role emphasizes financial analysis, modeling, and cross-functional collaboration to drive cost savings and accuracy.

You will leverage RightAngle software and perform reconciliations, forecasting, and strategic inventory decisions while communicating findings to senior leadership in a clear, concise manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis with focus on inventory management in energy.
  • Strong knowledge of oil, gas, and refinery sectors, including operations, regulations, and market trends.
  • Proficiency in RightAngle software for inventory management.
  • Experience in reconciliations and identifying discrepancies.
  • Strong financial modeling skills to forecast inventory needs and optimize costs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for non-financial audiences.

Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Financial Analyst - Inventory to join our team. This role is an exciting opportunity to work in the fast-paced energy industry, focusing specifically on oil, gas, and refinery sectors. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and will be responsible for managing and optimizing our inventory across various terminals and pipelines.

Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed financial analysis to understand inventory trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and make recommendations to senior management.
  • Utilize RightAngle software to manage and track inventory levels across multiple terminals and pipelines.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of physical inventory against financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future inventory needs based on historical trends, market conditions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs.
  • Prepare and present reports on inventory performance, trends, and forecasts to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to inventory management in the energy industry.
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes related to inventory management.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on inventory management best practices within the energy industry.
