Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking an Associate Accountant for the Crude Oil team in Houston, TX. This role supports the crude oil acquisition and marketing business, performing volume actualization, reconciliations, and allocations, while partnering with operations and finance to ensure accurate reporting.

The ideal candidate has an accounting degree and 0-2 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and comfort with SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Experience: 0-2 years.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong communication abilities.
• Experience with SAP and RightAngle is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist monthly close including actualizing crude oil volumes and reconciliations.
• Process and submit transportation payments for pipeline and terminal activities.
• Settle monthly receivables and payables; monitor vendor and customer balances in SAP.
• Collaborate with Scheduling, Trading, and other accounting teams to meet goals.
• Maintain SOX controls documentation and support system upgrades (RightAngle).
