Par Pacific Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Inventory Accounting Analyst in Houston to partner with Yield Accounting, Logistics, Billing, Tax, and Settlements to analyze monthly movements across multiple transportation modes.

The role owns inventory reconciliation across refining locations and contributes to process improvements and automation. You will report to the Inventory Accounting Manager and be responsible for booking/reconciling volumetric movements, preparing monthly refinery yield

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• Minimum 2 years Oil & Gas Accounting experience.
• GAAP knowledge and application to company needs.
• Experience with hydrocarbon terminals, refineries and transport modes.
• SAP MM modules experience required.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to research, solve problems, and propose improvements.
• Ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication; English fluency.
• On-site Monday–Thursday; some remote Fridays.

Aufgaben

• Work with yield accounting, logistics, billing, tax, settlements to understand daily inventory movements.
• Analyze pipeline tickets, terminal, rail, refinery reports and tank balances.
• Transact inventory movements in SAP movement ledger.
• Perform periodic volumetric reconciliations between subledgers and SAP movement ledger.
• Prepare monthly refinery yield analysis.
• Document monthly control activities for audits.
• Review current period purchases and settlements related to title transfer and liabilities.
• Prepare and oversee month-end reconciliations for exchange activity.
• Perform other duties and special projects.
