Job summary

ID Logistics is seeking a cycle counter to maintain accurate inventory records at the site. You will conduct daily cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and manage adjustments while ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include handling returned shipments, removing obsolete stock, and supporting inventories to protect inventory integrity. Strong math and Excel skills, plus attention to detail, are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or related experience in inventory control and/or training; AA degree preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory management procedures and warehouse terminology.
• Strong math, Excel and spreadsheet skills.
• Interpersonal and communication skills are important.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts daily as assigned.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine root cause.
• Pull slow moving or obsolete inventory as requested.
• Process returned shipments and classify quality.
• Ensure proper written documentation is signed off and filed.
• Support during inventories to ensure integrity of the process.
• Search to locate products and adjust records for discrepancies.
• Identify and research unique inventory occurrences to correct them.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards per guidelines.
• Follow safety rules and report noncompliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
