Job summary

NFI is seeking a Cycle Counter to perform continuous cycle counts of inventory and resolve discrepancies. The role emphasizes adherence to inventory procedures, maintaining accurate records, and timely data reconciliation.

The position requires forklift experience, MS Office skills, and the ability to work independently, including potential weekends. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Computer applications experience using MS Office.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Customer service oriented.
• Able to work independently.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction.
• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including weekends and potentially holidays as needed by the customer.
• Must be able to stand and walk for continuous periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical inventory count and compare results with system data
• Research discrepancies between physical and system count
• Communicate cycle count findings to those responsible for inventory
• Adheres to the cycle counting procedures and guidelines
• Maintains inventory count records and data files
• Investigates origin of discrepancies
• Other duties as assigned
