Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Mission, TX is hiring for a Cycle Counter to maintain inventory accuracy and support production schedules. The role involves counting materials, reviewing SAP transactions, and providing root-cause analysis to prevent shortages.

You should bring a High School Diploma, warehouse experience, and strong math/English skills. The position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to operate a forklift when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1 year experience in Warehouse environment preferred.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Organized with strong attention to detail and ability to apply problem solving skills.
• Experience with cycle counting and/or inventory movements.
• Ability to communicate verbally and/or in written form effectively.
• Excellent math skills and ability to read/write in English.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Knowledge of SAP and Webdynpro systems preferred.
• Previous experience driving a forklift or similar Powered Industrial Truck within a warehouse preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cycle counts raw materials, WIP, finished goods, consignment, and non-conforming materials to maintain established count and accuracy goals.
• Review SAP transactions to resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Report inventory shortage adjustments to scheduling and/or purchasing to avoid production delays and customer backorders.
• Root cause analysis and reconciliation of the count discrepancies.
• Create monthly inventory and root cause analysis reports.
• Attend meetings and follow-through with dispositioning.
• Maintain item and location labeling using 5S visual management.
• Assist in preparation of physical inventories.
• Assist in the implementation of improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory, minimize costs and maximize working capital.
• Drive a forklift or other powered industrial truck to perform tasks as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
