Job summary

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group Company, seeks an Inventory Cycle Counter to count physical inventory and improve warehouse processes. You will ensure accurate records for in-stock material, equipment, and supplies, and contribute to quality assurance of warehouse practices.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year experience in inventory/cycle counting, strong math skills, and the ability to work with AS400 or SAP.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years inventory/cycle counter experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to count inventory with strong math skills and use adding machines.

Responsibilities

• Count materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies in-stock; create total inventory records.
• Compare inventories to office records and compute figures from records.
• Verify clerical computations against physical stock and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory rotations and make recommendations as needed.
• Prepare reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Prepare lists of depleted items and recommend surveys of defective/unusable items.
• Review and investigate daily reports directed by the Auditor.
• Maintain shrink at or below company standard.
• Understand how different departments impact inventory integrity and perform other duties as assigned.
