Job summary

Core-Mark International in Cartersville, GA is seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter to perform counts, verify data, and improve inventory accuracy in the warehouse. You will count materials, generate records, and help optimize stock control.

The role requires 6+ months cycle count experience, a High School diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AS400/SAP is preferred. Schedule is Mon–Fri, 5am–1:30pm with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED equivalent.
• 6+ months inventory/cycle counter experience in a warehouse.
• Ability to count inventory with strong math skills.
• Able to lift up to 65 lbs occasionally and operate forklift/cherry picker.
• Experience with AS400 or SAP is preferred.
• Work in normal warehouse temperatures, including freezer/cooler.

Responsibilities

• Count physical inventory and research ways to improve efficiencies.
• Count material, equipment, merchandise and supplies to provide inventory records.
• Create and verify total inventory records and compare to office records.
• Investigate discrepancies and monitor inventory rotations.
• Prepare reports like inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Identify depleted items and suggest survey of defective items.
• Review daily reports directed by Auditor and maintain shrink at or below standard.
