Job summary

Core-Mark International in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter to perform counts of physical inventory and improve efficiency in warehouse processes. You will tally materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies to provide accurate inventory records and support quality assurance of warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, solid math skills, and the ability to follow established procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED.
• 1+ years inventory/cycle counter experience in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to learn or have experience with AS400 or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Count materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies in-stock; create inventory records.
• Compare inventories to office records and compute figures.
• Verify clerical computations against stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory rotations and recommend improvements.
• Prepare reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Prepare list of depleted items and survey defective/unusable items.
• Review daily reports directed by the Auditor.
• Maintain shrink at or below company standard.
• Understand how departments affect inventory and its integrity.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
