Job summary

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group Company, is seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter to support warehouse operations in Cartersville, GA. You will count material, equipment, and stock, verify records, investigate discrepancies, and prepare reports to ensure inventory accuracy and shrink control.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 5am–1:30pm, paying $18.00 per hour with health benefits and other company programs.

Qualifications

Must have 6+ months inventory/cycle counter experience in a warehouse environment.
Ability to count inventory within the warehouse; apply strong math skills while using adding machines.
Physical ability to regularly lift, carry, and position up to 65 lbs.
Experience operating forklift and cherry picker is preferred.
Must be able to learn or have experience with AS400 or SAP.

Responsibilities

Perform counts of physical inventory and research ways to improve efficiency in inventory processes.
Count material, equipment, merchandise, and supplies in-stock to provide inventory records for the warehouse.
Compare inventories to office records and compute figures from records; investigate discrepancies.
Monitor inventory rotations and make recommendations to reduce shrink.
Prepare reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
