Job summary

Rimports LLC in the Atlanta, Georgia area is seeking an Operations Controller to own inventory costing, standard costs, variances, and the month-end close, partnering with Operations and VP Finance to improve margin clarity and inventory accuracy.

This hands-on leadership role manages cost accounting, supports budgeting and forecasting, and ensures accurate COGS reporting while driving process improvements and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 8+ years in accounting, incl. 4+ years cost accounting in manufacturing.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own standard costing, inventory valuation, and variances.
• Manage month-end close for inventory and COGS.
• Develop and monitor overhead absorption rates.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts with Operations and VP Finance.
• Lead cycle counts and physical inventory accuracy.
• Partner with Operations to drive cost reduction and process improvements.
