Job summary

CFS in Raleigh-Durham, NC is seeking a Controller to own standard costing and manufacturing cost accounting, reporting to the General Manager. You will drive month-end close and cost variance analysis while partnering with operations to improve plant performance.

This role offers visibility across operations, supply chain, and leadership, with autonomy to influence key decisions during the ongoing acquisition. Onsite position with a focus on value-added accounting and timely financial insight.

Qualifications

• Strong standard costing experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on general ledger and month-end close experience.
• Accounting degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own standard costing and manufacturing cost accounting activities.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Analyze cost variances and provide insights to improve operational performance.
• Partner with operations and plant leadership to support business decisions.
• Support general ledger accounting and financial reporting activities.
• Coordinate with shared services team to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
