Job summary

Rimports LLC is seeking an Operations Controller in the Atlanta, GA area to own inventory costing, standard costing, and manufacturing variance analysis. This hands-on leader will close the books monthly, partner with Operations on sourcing and pricing decisions, and drive continuous improvement in cost reporting.

The role reports to the VP of Finance and supports budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 4+ years in cost accounting in manufacturing/distribution.
• Expertise in standard costing, BOMs, routing structures, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP as applied to inventory and cost of goods.

Responsibilities

• Own standard costing, inventory valuation, and variances.
• Lead month-end close, inventory costing, and related financial reporting.
• Partner with Operations on productivity, sourcing, and pricing decisions.
• Support internal controls and process automation improvements, including AI-enabled workflows.
