Job summary

King Technology, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to support accurate and timely financial reporting through general ledger accounting, reconciliations, inventory accounting, and internal control activities.

This role partners with Operations and Finance to support physical inventory, monitor inventory-related accounts, assist with cost and manufacturing variance analysis, and contribute to month-end closing and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Experience with standard inventory costing methods and BOM building/routing.
• Syteline ERP and Power BI experience a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Record transactions in the general ledger in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, investigate items, and escalate as needed.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Maintain capital expenditure schedules and fixed asset listing, including depreciation.
• Support physical inventory counts and cycle-count activities, including variance follow-up.
• Support inventory costing and related GL accounts.
• Analyze inventory, WIP, and manufacturing variances with Operations and Finance.
• Collaborate on inventory transactions, BOM, and cost accounting data affecting results.
• Prepare operational and financial reports for stakeholders and communicate significant variances.
• Maintain internal controls documentation and assist testing of controls.
• Assist in maintaining accuracy of Syteline data and respond to audit requests.
