Job summary

ZT Systems seeks an Inventory Accounting Analyst to safeguard the integrity of its inventory financial data across the global footprint. You will apply US GAAP to inventory valuation, assist with end-to-end accounting for inventory, COGS, and margin analysis, and support the monthly close with journal entries and variance reviews.

The role collaborates with Product and Sales to maintain standard costs, generate cost reports, and help implement SOX-compliant controls for a newly acquired

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• At least 2+ years of accounting experience with inventory.
• Experience with Standard Cost Accounting and SAP proficiency.
• Strong communication and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Record inventory-related journal entries and close processes.
• Prepare monthly inventory valuations and variances for US GAAP.
• Reconcile inventory accounts across global operations.
• Analyze gross margins and cost drivers for management review.
• Maintain standard product costs with Product/Sales teams.
• Support SOX-compliant controls for new divisions.
