You will manage journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity, while supporting inventory-related close and reporting. A strong GAAP background and ERP experience are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a Staff Accountant or similar role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Retail industry experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger transactions.
• Reconcile inventory across multiple retail locations.
• Support month-end close activities, including inventory-related reporting and analysis.
• Analyze account activity and prepare adjusting entries as needed.
• Process inventory transfer transactions within the accounting system.
• Assist with financial reporting and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Investigate variances and provide insights into financial performance.
• Partner cross-functionally to improve processes and enhance efficiencies.
• Support audits and maintain strong internal controls.
