You will manage cost reports, asset accounting, and budget development while coordinating audits and regulatory filings. The role requires collaboration with operations and external vendors, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with government and commercial contracts.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of US GAAP required.
• FAR knowledge preferred but not required.
• Excel and Word experience required.
• Experience with a major ERP Financial Management system required; Costpoint preferred.
• Ability to collaborate professionally with operational departments and external vendors.
• Must be a problem solver.
• Experience with Government and Commercial Contracts required.
• Experience in a Job Cost Accounting environment strongly preferred.
• Revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and year-end close, creating journal entries and GL analysis.
• Manage indirect cost reports and submissions.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for senior operations personnel.
• Oversee and prepare month-end customer invoices.
• Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
• Handle Fixed Asset Accounting.
• Assist with year-end financial audit.
• Assist with development of the annual budget.
• Manage state filing and registration process.
• Prepare Sales and Property Tax Returns.
• Perform special projects as assigned by Controller.
• Occasional travel required (< 25%).
