Job summary

N/A is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the close process and oversee a range of GAAP-based accounting activities. You will report to the Controller and coordinate with operations and external vendors on complex accounting tasks.

The role requires strong expertise in US GAAP, cost accounting and ERP systems, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Occasional travel to support audits and annual budgeting is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 8–15 years of general ledger accounting experience.
• CPA is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and GL analysis.
• Manage indirect cost reports and submissions.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for operations personnel.
• Oversee month-end customer invoicing.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Fixed asset accounting activities.
• Assist with year-end audit.
• Assist with annual budget development.
• Manage state filing and registration processes.
• Sales and property tax returns.
• Perform special projects as assigned by Controller.
• Occasional travel up to 25%.
