Job summary

1-800-Flowers.com, Inc. in Jericho, NY is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to monitor inventory movement and ensure product availability across channels while minimizing discrepancies and preventing overselling.

You will partner with Planning, Merchandising, Warehouse Operations and Supply Chain to maintain inventory accuracy, perform reconciliations, and support promotional activity, data reporting, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in inventory management or related fields.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, large datasets).
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented problem-solving.
• Excellent organizational and multi-priority management in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to collaborate across departments.
• Experience with Oracle or other ERP/inventory systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory movement, levels, and product availability using Oracle and reports.
• Prepare and maintain inventory reports, PO reports, shipment files, and other operational reporting.
• Monitor inbound receipts, outbound transfers, and transactions across systems.
• Identify shortages, delays, discrepancies, and overselling risks; communicate proactively to partners.
• Coordinate with planners, merchandisers, warehouse operations, and supply chain teams.
• Perform inventory reconciliations, month-end reporting, physical inventory support.
• Maintain accurate inventory records ensuring data integrity.
