1-800-Flowers.com, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Coordinator who will create and maintain inventory management files for perishable and hard goods, working with a cross-functional team to optimize stock and service levels in a fast-paced, real-time environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, advanced Excel and Access skills, and collaboration across departments to ensure inventory availability across Atlas and web channels.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
• Understanding of merchandising, inventory management, direct marketing, and operational processes.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access; Atlas and Oracle experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication across departments.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and escalate issues when needed.
• Goal to grow professionally within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare spreadsheets and reports for inventory, including IMON, ATS, shipment files, and open purchase order data.
• Monitor inventory reports to identify unavailable product alerts and resolve issues with Inventory Specialists and Planners.
• Issue approved purchase requisitions and monitor order/inventory status for timely delivery.
• Create system transfers for inventory distributions.
• Compile month-end inventory data and prepare obsolescence documentation.
• Perform month-end physical inventory, reconcile and review inventory costs/valuation reports.
• Maintain database information for inventory receipts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Inventory Management.
