Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to perform cycle counts, maintain accuracy of inventory records, and support discrepancy investigations.

You will collaborate with materials and inventory control teams to resolve variances and ensure adjustments are properly documented. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
• Experience with inventory management systems and data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of inventory items.
• Follow established cycle counting schedules and procedures.
• Record count data accurately and update inventory systems.
• Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies and variances.
• Collaborate with materials and inventory control teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy in inventory records.
• Document and authorize all inventory adjustments.
• Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of counts and adjustments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Some physicaldemand;often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
• Ability to performoccasionalto frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
• May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
