Job summary

Plug Power is seeking an Inventory Technician to perform daily cycle counts, maintain accuracy of inventory records, and support quality audits of warehouse processes.

The role requires teamwork or independent work, high attention to detail, flexibility for manufacturing schedules, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Prior inventory experience is preferred and safety is a key focus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of inventory locations
• Use of various software to include the Microsoft Operating system, Avante ERP and Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Word
• Frequent lifting, bending, and pulling
• Operation of material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
• Clear and professional communication with leadership, and internal/external customers
• Occasional operation of hand tools
• Assist where needed as directed by the Inventory or Warehouse Supervisors

Inventory Technician

Status: Non-Exempt (hourly)

Department: Inventory Control

Position Summary

Will be responsible for daily cycle counts of product, ensuring accuracy of inventory records, investigating warehouse discrepancies, and performing quality audits of warehouse processes. The selected candidate should have the ability to work both in a team orientated environment as well as independently. This role will require strong attention to detail and meticulous accuracy. The ideal candidate must possess a high degree of flexibility, the ability to competently respond to direction and meet scheduling demands, and the ability to satisfy physical demands of the position. Applicants for this position must be extremely safety conscious. Prior inventory experience is preferred.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of inventory locations
