O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Inventory Control Supervisor to lead receiving, inventory control and quality assurance within the distribution center. You will drive accuracy, cycle counts, and WMS configuration while coaching a growing team.

The role emphasizes process improvement, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to meet operational goals and safety standards across the facility.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent level of education.
• 7–12 months of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
• 4–6 months of coordinating work or leading responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, warehouse operations and material flow.
• Experience with WMS and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, inventory control, and quality assurance activities.
• Supervise cycle counting programs and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate WMS configuration and maintenance.
• Review item master data and system rules for compliance.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members; recruit and onboard.
• Promote workplace safety and enforce standards.
• Perform operational audits and investigate variances.
• Coordinate slotting and storage optimization for flow.
• Support RF systems, terminals, and warehouse tools.
• Drive continuous improvement in accuracy and performance.
