Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Distribution Center Inventory Control Associate to maintain accuracy, conduct audits, and support receiving, stocking, and distribution processes. You will resolve discrepancies, perform cycle counts, and process adjustments within the DC.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.
• Follows established operational, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain safe work environment, including lifting, moving, and handling merchandise.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory research and reconciliation processes.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems, RF technology, and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform order adjustments, repicks, and quantity corrections to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Monitor and resolve allocation and receiving discrepancies in WMS and Orders systems.
• Research and correct item numbers, locations, and keying errors by comparing physical vs system inventory.
• Conduct daily audits of outbound/inbound items to verify inventory numbers.
• Perform cycle counts, stock verifications, and monthly inventory checks following procedures.
• Process and reconcile stray parts and relabel/changeover projects.
• Perform stock adjustments and final sweeps as required.
• Maintain accurate location data and safe product weight placement in the DC.
• Communicate discrepancies and issues to leadership for prompt resolution.
