Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor - Quality Assurance to lead inventory control, receiving, and QA in the distribution center. You will drive accuracy, coach teams, and coordinate WMS configurations to improve performance across operations.

The role requires experience in inventory control, cycle counting, and working with warehouse systems, along with strong collaboration across departments and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent level of education.
• 7–12 months of inventory control or warehouse operations experience.
• 4–6 months coordinating work or leading teams.
• Strong understanding of inventory control processes and material flow.
• Experience with WMS and related technologies.
• Ability to manage cycle counts and storage optimization.
• Strong planning and organizational skills across multiple priorities.
• Data analysis to identify trends and improve accuracy.
• Experience coordinating workflows, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Ability to communicate across operational and corporate teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, inventory control, and quality assurance activities to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Supervise cycle counting and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate WMS configuration and maintenance for the distribution center.
• Review location setups, item master data, and system rules for compliance.
• Lead and develop team members, including training and performance management.
• Partner with HR on recruitment and engagement initiatives.
• Set and monitor departmental goals aligned with leadership.
• Maintain compliance with policies and standards.
• Promote workplace safety and address unsafe practices.
• Support equipment training and certify safe operation.
