Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Louisiana is hiring an Inventory Clerk to monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels within the Inventory Management System and greet customers in line with our Core Values.

You will perform daily stock counts, ensure proper ordering, and collaborate with store leadership to resolve shortages and improve shelf conditions. The role supports safe, efficient store operations and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• HS diploma or GED and one year of related experience preferred.
• 21 years or older to drive for Company business per policy.

Responsibilities

• Performs stock counts in the Inventory Management System daily to ensure accuracy of product balances on hand.
• Maintains accurate inventory levels through proper ordering and receiving of product.
• Ensures all pending inventory transactions are reviewed and completed daily.
• Communicates with store director on inventory levels; researches shortages and corrects shelf conditions.
• Ensures product levels are maintained and replenished on shelves.
• Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to safety procedures.
