Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking an Inventory Clerk to monitor and maintain accurate stock levels within the Inventory Management System. You will greet customers and contribute to a service-first culture aligned with our Jump Over the Counter Service Excellence value.

You’ll perform daily stock counts, manage ordering and receiving, and ensure shelves are stocked and accurate. The role requires basic math skills and a willingness to learn new systems in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED and one or more years of related experience preferred.
• Minimum of 18 years of age required.
• Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business.

Responsibilities

• Performs stock counts in the Inventory Management System daily to ensure accuracy of product balances on hand.
• Maintains accurate inventory levels through proper ordering and receiving of product.
• Ensures all pending inventory transactions are reviewed and completed daily.
• Communicates with store director on inventory levels; researches any shortages and corrects unacceptable shelf conditions.
• Ensures product levels are maintained and replenished on shelves.
• Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working environment by adhering to company safety procedures.
• Provides friendly and customer service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, and responding to customer complaints.
• Assists with all other assigned duties, including period and bi-annual inventory service counts.
