Job summary

Seacoast, a GCG Company, is hiring an Inventory Control Specialist in Chesapeake, VA to ensure inventory is accurately stocked, labeled, and organized. You will compile and maintain reports for warehouse leaders and support daily inventory operations.

Hours are 7:30am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri with occasional weekend work; pay rate is negotiable based on experience. Required skills include RF scanning, Oracle, ERP/WMS/SAP, and cycle counting expertise.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of warehouse inventory experience.
• RF scanner experience required.
• Reach truck and order picker experience required.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, or SAP systems.
• Cycle count and material handling experience.
• Experience reconciling inventory discrepancies.
• Ability to read and write printed inventory records.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk regularly.

Responsibilities

• Use Oracle to print location data, check materials, and provide reports.
• Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Physically pull, move, and count inventory and note discrepancies.
• Reconcile system errors and compile inventory reports.
• Operate sit-down forklifts and RF scanners to move and organize inventory.
• Perform quality control and report damaged or out-of-date material.
• Serve as backup for other departments and assist with warehouse duties.
