GCG is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our Chesapeake, VA team. You will ensure inventory is accurately stocked, labeled, and organized while producing reports for warehouse leaders. Typical hours are 7:30am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri, with occasional weekends.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, ERP/SAP reporting, and operating RF scanners and forklifts. Requires 2+ years of warehouse inventory experience and a High School diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of warehouse inventory experience required.
• RF scanner experience required.
• Reach truck and order picker experience required.
• Experience using an ERP, WMS, or SAP system required.
• Cycle count and material handling experience required.
• Ability to read and write printed inventory records; attention to detail; lift 50lbs.

• Serve as backup for other departments and assist with additional warehouse duties.

Overview

Seacoast, GCG Company, is currently hiring an Inventory Control Specialist to join our tight knit team in Chesapeake, VA! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that inventory is correctly stocked, labeled, and organized while compiling and maintaining reports to share with warehouse leaders.

Hours:7:30am-4:30pm Mon-Fri (occasional weekend work is required)

Pay Rate: negotiable based on experience

Location: 3800 Cook Blvd. Chesapeake, VA 23323

What You'll Do

• Use Oracle to print data location, check materials, and provide managers with reports
• Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory is accurate and scanned to its current location
• Physically pull, move, and count inventory, noting any discrepancies
• Reconcile system errors, review shipment and receipt data, and compile inventory reports
