Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support store operations with inventory control, receiving accuracy, and compliance routines. You will handle receiving, adjustments, reconciliations, transfers, and buyback/RTV processes while collaborating with the Store Operations Manager to ensure accurate reporting and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. You must be able to read, write, and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts and varied hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
• GURA: Greet the Customer, Uncover Needs, Recommend Solutions, Add Value to the Customer.
• Deliver Legendary Service and reinforce Leading with Legendary behaviors through engagement and accountability.
• Complete forklift and propane inspections.
• Pull OMNI orders in the morning and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation.
• Receive Direct POs, freight, and DC transfers; stage freight as needed.
• Stock and tag freight and prepare fill-to-capacity picklists for the Freight Team.
• Record daily defects and submit reports to the Store Operations Manager.
• Promote safety and complete required training; travel as needed.
