Job summary

ARMADA Supply Chain Solutions is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain accurate inventory records across multiple warehouse facilities. You will manage cycle counts, adjust discrepancies, process adjustments, and ensure data integrity in our WMS (Red Prairie) and related systems.

The role requires forklift experience, proficiency with JD Edwards and Red Prairie, strong analytical skills, and clear communication with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience (Cherry Picker and Sit-Down)
• MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with JD Edwards and Red Prairie preferred
• Analytical and problem-solving ability
• Effective communication with internal/external clients

Responsibilities

• Request cycle counts from all facilities and report discrepancies.
• Maintain and file records, invoices, and customer records accurately.
• Maintain the ERS log and process claims per policy.
• Review OFR reports to confirm warehouse issues and coordinate with inventory managers.
• Monitor month-end shipments and adjust inventories for IA reporting.
• Investigate discrepancies and correct history in system records.
• Process inventory adjustments for damages, discrepancies, or returns.
• Coordinate annual physical inventories and improve inventory management procedures.
• Maintain security over inventory and restrict access to authorized personnel.
• Analyze data to identify and correct inconsistencies in the system.
• Assist in clearing open inbound POs and any EDI issues.
• Develop a program to audit returns and route products correctly.
• Build relationships with customer contacts to meet requirements.
• Assist training for managers and warehouse staff on WMS.
• Ensure compliance with SQF and food safety regulations.
• Direct warehouse staff to follow safety and environmental laws.
