Job summary

Caliberr Staffing is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Michigan. You will ensure that material records precisely reflect physical stock and leverage ERP systems to drive accuracy and efficiency across production workflows.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years in inventory control, and strong analytical skills to audit data discrepancies and optimize warehouse operations. Forklift certification and an Associate’s degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in ERP software and inventory management systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex data discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily inbound and outbound inventory transactions within our ERP system to maintain real-time data integrity.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and physical audits to reconcile system records with on-hand stock and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage lifecycle of materials, including purchase orders, RMAs, and disposition of expired or non-conforming goods.
• Optimize warehouse storage configurations to improve distribution speed and maintain diligent housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate across departments to facilitate smooth intercompany transfers and ensure inventory movements are well documented.
• Uphold safety, quality, and FIFO protocols to maintain a compliant and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily inbound and outbound inventory transactions within our ERP system to maintain real-time data integrity.
• Conduct rigorous cycle counts and physical audits to reconcile system records with on-hand stock, identifying and resolving root causes for discrepancies.
• Manage the lifecycle of materials, including processing purchase orders, handling RMAs, and overseeing the disposition of expired or non-conforming goods.
• Optimize warehouse storage configurations to improve material distribution speed and maintain high standards of housekeeping.
• Collaborate across departments to facilitate smooth intercompany transfers and ensure all inventory movements are documented accurately.
• Uphold strict safety, quality, and FIFO (First-In, First-Out) protocols to ensure a compliant and productive work environment.
