Job summary

Snelling Staffing DFW is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join the Production Team. You will maintain accurate inventory records, coordinate control activities, and support warehouse and production operations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with Production, Warehouse, Accounting, and Sales.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control, warehouse, receiving, or material-handling preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred; ability to safely operate various material-handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory control systems.
• Operate material-handling equipment safely (forklifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks).
• Match purchase orders with packing slips and enter receiving/material data.
• Perform cycle counts and adjust inventory based on counts.
• Process inventory price changes and corrections as needed.
• Match receiving docs with T-bills and assist with month-end inventory closing.
